Hudson has finally told us about their promised Bomberman game for WiiWare. Bomberman Blast for Wii is what every fan has been waiting for, a full online multiplayer game that doesn’t include a single player Bomberman adventure mode which is usually quite pants. Here are the reasons why Bomberman for Wii will be totally ace:

8 player Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection online battle mode
Up to 4 players on a single Wii can go online at any one time
Online leaderboards
Use classic Bomberman characters or your Mii’s
Regular online tournaments

We’re really looking forward to Bomberman Blast for WiiWare, the prospect of 8 player online battles is just a dream come true, fingers crossed it will be lag free! The Mii support is pretty nifty too, we love using our cute little avatars whenever we can - you know…this could be the best Bomberman experience to date! We don’t have a Bomberman Blast release date yet, but we’ll let you know as soon as we do.
